Job Overview

Patriot Construction, Inc. is in search of a dedicated SITE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER. This role involves overseeing all on-site construction operations and managing field personnel to ensure that projects are completed on time and within financial constraints. The position emphasizes maintaining superior quality standards, supervising various trades, and enforcing effective safety protocols throughout all on-site activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and coordinates all on-site construction tasks.
  • Guides field personnel to ensure timely project completion, adherence to budget, and high-quality workmanship that aligns with original designs and specifications.
  • Monitors the construction timeline, proactively identifies and resolves issues.
  • Procures materials and organizes inspections as required during the project lifecycle.
  • Interprets project plans and specifications accurately.
  • Fosters positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Plans, schedules, and supervises the resolution of final punch list items.
  • Advocates for job site safety, promotes safe working practices, and addresses job site hazards promptly.
  • Ensures compliance with the company's safety policies among all employees and contractors.
  • Keeps the job site, including the construction office, well-organized.
  • Possesses the ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Procore software.
  • Effectively manages a substantial workload and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develops project schedules and establishes the sequence and timing of construction activities.
  • Coordinates and oversees subcontractor performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent/Expeditor with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor engaged in building construction.
  • Skilled in scheduling, procurement, field supervision, quality assurance, and all phases of construction.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented individual.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
  • Professionally and technically proficient.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to assess issues from various perspectives.
  • Friendly and approachable in social interactions.
  • Collaborates effectively with others.
