Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Professional Development Coordinator to join our Corporate Development team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Professional Development & Training (PD&T) team in implementing training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of training camps and retreats
  • Assist in the implementation of workshops and other attorney training programs
  • Manage training program logistics, including scheduling, presenter coordination, and material distribution
  • Participate in the design of training programs
  • Assist with the preparation of training materials
  • Provide lateral associates with training resources and support
  • Provide on-site support for training programs in our New York/Boston office
  • Maintain and update training charts, spreadsheets, calendars, learning paths, and databases
  • Track program attendance and feedback ratings
  • Support the Corporate Training Committee, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting materials
  • Maintain the corporate training infoNet page
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) folders
  • Schedule corporate training team meetings and prepare agendas
  • Understand and effectively use required firm applications
  • Serve as a backup to Corporate PD&T team members as needed
Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and responsive approach

Education, Experience, and Skills Required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, with experience in a law firm environment a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, with proficiency in CE Manager a plus
Compensation and Total Rewards Package

We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package to our business support team members, including comprehensive health and well-being benefits, personal and professional development opportunities, career growth opportunities, and a collegial and supportive culture.

The anticipated pay range for this role is $47,000 - $65,000 in Boston, and $49,500 - $69,000 in New York, which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development, and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
