Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Coordinator for Exceptional Education Professional Development and Support.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in classroom teaching and/or leadership, with certification as SBL, SDL, SAS, or SDA. A background in secondary or CTE teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional development and support to educators in exceptional education
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of professional development programs
  • Support the coordination of special education services

Requirements:

  • Professional NYS Teacher Certification
  • Three to five years of experience in classroom teaching and/or leadership
