**Overview**
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the operation of Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc. by implementing specific work projects and performing administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist employees with personnel and labor relations matters, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
* Compile and analyze data to provide insights on the Clinic's various components, supporting informed decision-making.
* Perform administrative, special projects, and personnel duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
* Prepare and review reports to ensure accuracy, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
* Administer the payroll function for employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Collaborate with physicians to review CPT Coding and its impact on charges and collections, promoting efficient and effective operations.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred; or
* Associate's degree with two years of experience in administration, preferably in a clinic/hospital setting; or
* High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of experience in administration, management, or business-related fields, preferably in a hospital environment.
