Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting Department in the United States. This role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our financial operations.


About the Role

The ideal candidate would be dedicated, hardworking, reliable, learn quickly, and be able to adapt well to change with a positive, can-do attitude who can effectively implement our company's Standard Accounting and Operating Procedures.


Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring correct approvals and cost category coding.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements and ensure all invoices are accounted for; research and process missing items as needed.
  • Manage corporate account expense reconciliations and entry for payment.
  • Oversee and approve travel requests for employees, customers, and guests.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date Accounts Payable files, both paper and electronic.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Detail oriented and great organization skills with high degree of accuracy.
