Sales Support Administrator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Overview:

The Sales Support Administrator plays a crucial role in assisting the Regional Sales Manager and field sales teams in managing and nurturing the customer base. Key responsibilities include processing promotional material orders, handling will-call requests, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Regional Sales Manager and field representatives.
  • Process customer orders efficiently.
  • Identify and cultivate potential sales leads for representatives.
  • Organize and execute local marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the display program, including processing promotional items and samples.
  • Maintain sales databases, including SalesForce and Oracle.
  • Generate and analyze various sales reports for branch performance.
  • Coordinate promotional item distribution for field representatives.
  • Manage co-op advertising in alignment with marketing standards.
  • Foster relationships with current and prospective clients through effective customer service.
  • Address and resolve client issues, including warranty claims.
  • Prepare comprehensive status reports, including database updates and warranty claims.
  • Collaborate with staff to fulfill sales and promotional distribution tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Follow up with clients regarding the status of promotional item deliveries.
  • Regularly update the Sales Database as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales coordination or a related field.
  • Proficient in database management, internet navigation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong persuasive and influential abilities.
  • Capability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
  • Proficient in creating and editing written materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques, generally gained through a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Professional appearance and positive representation of the company are essential.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
