Position Overview

Job Summary:

Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), recognized as a leading entity in the Outdoor Advertising sector, is in search of a Sales Support Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing the advertising sales department's proposals, meticulously tracking and reporting weekly and monthly metrics, updating inventory records, and serving as a company representative by handling incoming calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disseminates all sales-related information efficiently.
  • Prepares outgoing proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Gathers and organizes information for Account Executives.
  • Creates and maintains insertion orders and related documentation as necessary.
  • Compiles weekly sales projections for market management.
  • Conducts regular updates of inventory within the Inventory Management System.
  • Assists the Sales Manager and occasionally the General Manager.
  • Responds to incoming calls, representing the company professionally.
  • Develops advertising/media kits to support sales efforts.
  • Updates and maintains prospect kits for sales outreach.
  • Conducts research on current and prospective clients as well as market trends.
  • Serves as a liaison among clients, Account Executives, and various departments.
  • Creates inventory maps to facilitate the sales process.
  • May distribute and refresh internal and external marketing materials.
  • Provides proof of performance images and reports to clients.
  • May participate in weekly sales meetings as required.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Business Manager on accounts receivable tasks.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • One to two years of general office or clerical experience, with familiarity in advertising functions and terminology.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient data entry and computer capabilities.
