Key Responsibilities of the Customer Care Representative:

  • Respond to customer inquiries by gathering information, conducting research, and providing accurate responses
  • Resolve customer issues by actively listening, researching, and exploring solutions; escalate unresolved matters as necessary
  • Document resolutions and outline next steps
  • Identify and promote additional services to customers
  • Maintain the call center database by entering information accurately and promptly
  • Ensure operational efficiency by adhering to established procedures
  • Engage in on-the-job training opportunities provided by Value City Furniture

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • A patient and positive demeanor
  • Professional communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (PC and O365)
  • The ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong time management abilities
  • A preference for independent work
  • Self-motivation and adaptability to changing priorities
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in retail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to read customer cues and respond appropriately
  • A passion for problem-solving and delivering solutions
  • A commitment to fostering customer loyalty
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience
