Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the sale, processing, and closing of homes in alignment with company objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction and delight.
  • Engage in community outreach through participation in phone banks and local events.
  • Utilize the company's sales philosophy to assist home-buying clients and realtors, guiding them through Welcome Home Centers and available properties.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from initial contact through to post-closing, ensuring all interactions are documented.
  • Conduct local travel to generate sales through realtor partnerships, referrals, and personal prospecting efforts.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape, including product offerings, community demographics, and sales strategies.
  • Track daily customer interactions using designated company tools.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and customer traffic.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations and assist clients with builder option selections as needed.
  • Engage in neighborhood marketing initiatives and promotional events.
  • Review and prepare sales contracts for approval, ensuring accurate entry into reporting systems.
  • Keep sales activity records current and report them in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with field teams to maintain the presentation of Welcome Home Centers and models.
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss neighborhood performance and strategies.
  • Assist in the processing of paperwork to ensure timely escrow closures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the home building sector.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Understanding of real estate regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction, mortgage, finance, and escrow processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are a must.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and professional demeanor with the ability to meet weekly targets independently.
  • Availability to keep the Welcome Home Center operational during designated hours.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and real estate professionals.
  • Willingness to accept guidance from supervisors.
  • Capability to adhere to established work protocols.
  • Problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Commitment to enhancing sales and internet skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Open to constructive feedback.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily active, involving both office and fieldwork, including walking in various weather conditions to visit homesites. A valid state driver's license is required for transportation of clients and attendance at meetings. The ability to operate a computer and telephone equipment is necessary, as is the capacity to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Sunday with two rotating days off.
