Position Overview
As a key member of the sales support team, you will collaborate with travel industry partners in a regional capacity, focusing on enhancing sales and marketing efforts. Your role will encompass event coordination, logistical management, reporting, cooperative marketing fulfillment, database oversight, and nurturing relationships with agencies and advisors.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for travel advisors, facilitating the resolution of guest relations issues by liaising with the Guest Relations team as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Reservation Sales Center to ensure timely communication and effective problem resolution.
- Provide assistance to travel advisors reaching out to Inside Sales, ensuring direct solutions or connections to relevant departments as needed.
- Follow up on outstanding sales proposals to boost conversion rates, working in tandem with the Sales Director.
- Partner with the team manager on targeted sales initiatives aimed at achieving revenue objectives for the Trade Sales Team.

- Organize and manage sales events and roadshows within established budgets, ensuring optimal attendance for maximum return on investment.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups with advisor attendees and handle the processing of invoices and billing/recharges.
- Maintain comprehensive lists of agency events and RSVPs to enhance attendee engagement.
- Provide essential data for reporting on the return on investment of agency events.

- Oversee the processing of invoices and billing/recharges related to advisor and client events.
- Play a significant role in the biennial recognition event for top producers, which may include managing registrations, transportation, and catering logistics.
- Administer the database for new or updated advisor and agency information within the region.

- Collaborate with the Accounting team to gather banking details for facilitating payments on bookings for new agencies.
- Support travel logistics for Sales Directors during roadshows with Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
- Work closely with Marketing and Office Services to supply requested sales materials to travel advisors and agencies.

- Coordinate marketing cooperative initiatives for travel agencies, including advertisements, newsletters, and consumer event materials, while liaising with the Accounting Department for payment allocations.
- Assist the Manager of National Accounts and Sales Directors with travel advisor applications for reduced rate programs and educational tours.
- Process advisor bookings in the reservation system and ensure post-travel follow-up correspondence aligns with Sales Directors to track accuracy for ROI reports.

Qualifications
- Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability are essential.
- A solid sales support philosophy and excellent relationship-building skills are required.
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities are crucial.
- Proficiency in data entry and strong Excel skills are preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment while meeting deadlines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional phone demeanor, are necessary.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are required.
- A working knowledge of internet search engines is essential.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.

Education and Experience
- A travel school program or college degree is preferred, while a high school diploma is required.
- Relevant experience in the travel industry is advantageous.

Special Requirements
- This position may require occasional evening, weekend, and approved overtime work.
- Some travel may be necessary.
