Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Embedded Audio Software Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects in the consumer products industry. This role involves the development, testing, and maintenance of audio software applications and systems. The ideal candidate will engage in all stages of the software development life cycle, from initial concept to final delivery and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and integrate advanced audio software systems utilizing Gstreamer, Pipewire, React, or similar technologies.
  • Maintain and enhance software for embedded audio systems.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure effective integration of software with hardware designs.
  • Identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, code reviews, and maintenance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and systems.
  • Contribute to project scheduling, task estimation, and resource planning.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our systems competitive.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded audio software development.
  • Proven expertise with Gstreamer, Pipewire, React, or equivalent technologies.
  • Strong understanding of audio signal processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently, committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
