Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Morristown Medical Center. As a key member of our Patient Access Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, addressing their questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accurately collect and verify patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process patient registrations, including securing accurate information and interpreting patient responsibility.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies, adapting to new procedures and technologies as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience and applicable experience within Revenue Cycle preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC, is a plus.
