We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Access Center, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients and families seeking behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to calls and provide empathetic and compassionate support to patients and families
- Conduct phone screenings to triage patients for clinical appropriateness, level of care, and location of service
- Schedule patients for outpatient behavioral health services if clinically appropriate
- Document responses to clinical triage questions in patient electronic medical records
- Provide referral information or other resources if services are not available through Atlantic Behavioral Health
- College degree required
- Experience working in Behavioral Health recommended
- MS Office proficiency
- Customer Service Experience
