About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Access Center, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients and families seeking behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls and provide empathetic and compassionate support to patients and families
  • Conduct phone screenings to triage patients for clinical appropriateness, level of care, and location of service
  • Schedule patients for outpatient behavioral health services if clinically appropriate
  • Document responses to clinical triage questions in patient electronic medical records
  • Provide referral information or other resources if services are not available through Atlantic Behavioral Health
Requirements
  • College degree required
  • Experience working in Behavioral Health recommended
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Customer Service Experience
