Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to callers in an empathetic and compassionate manner, providing information and support to help them navigate our healthcare system.
- Conduct Clinical Triage: Use your clinical knowledge to assess patient needs and determine the most appropriate level of care.
- Schedule Appointments: Schedule patients for outpatient behavioral health services, ensuring that they receive the care they need in a timely manner.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient information in our electronic medical record system.
- Provide Referral Information: Offer patients alternative resources and referrals if our services are not available.
- Education: College degree required.
- Experience: Experience working in behavioral health is highly recommended.
- Skills: MS Office proficiency and excellent customer service skills.
