Position Overview
As a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety within our operations. Your expertise will contribute to the innovative solutions we provide in the nuclear sector, reinforcing our commitment to environmental and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Define technical tasks and devise innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Utilize SRNS systems effectively, adhering to all established requirements with minimal oversight.
- Engage in problem-solving by applying advanced quality assurance engineering practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering professionals.
- Support the training division by offering QA expertise and developing training programs based on quality engineering principles.
- Conduct thorough reviews of procedures, work packages, and procurement documents to ensure compliance and quality.
- Prepare detailed assessments and recommendations for proposed projects within your area of expertise.
- Plan and execute audits, assessments, and surveillances on quality-related activities.
Security Clearance Requirements
Positions at SRNS may necessitate obtaining and maintaining a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. A comprehensive background review will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications
We require candidates to possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent state credential. Experience in civil and structural inspection and installation activities is essential. Familiarity with Civil Code (ACI) requirements is highly desirable.
