We are on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Senior Product and Content Marketing Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the marketing efforts of our primary product, IXL, overseeing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for both new features and product updates while ensuring seamless execution of marketing communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
- Oversee the project management of the GTM process for multiple product introductions.
- Create and refine marketing content, including messaging documents, promotional emails, website copy, print materials, blog articles, and case studies.
- Design and execute campaigns aimed at increasing product feature awareness and usage among current customers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop innovative strategies for engaging potential customers and enhancing relationships with existing users.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to ensure project coordination from inception to completion.
- Facilitate effective communication between Product and Marketing teams, as well as with customer-facing departments.
- Support training initiatives for Sales and customer-facing teams regarding product messaging.
- Provide guidance and editing support to junior content marketing associates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6-9 years of relevant marketing experience in a professional setting.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse team members and stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing abilities, capable of producing compelling content across various formats.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing projects efficiently and meeting deadlines.
- Interest or experience in the education or edtech sector, with a capacity to quickly grasp industry nuances.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is advantageous.
Compensation
The salary range for this full-time position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits are included.
