Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their daily needs in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
  • Deliver care that is both ethical and respectful, fostering a sense of dignity among residents.
  • Administer medications in accordance with California Title 22 regulations.
  • Handle medication orders as per physician directives.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate medication administration records, addressing any discrepancies immediately.
  • Document interactions and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate medical appointments for residents to ensure timely care.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff to promote residents' health and independence.
  • Maintain composure during emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • Qualifications include Live-Scan Clearance, TB test, CPR/AED certification, and experience managing a significant number of residents during shifts.
  • Compensation is based on experience.
