The Family Preservation Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Oakland Family Services, providing essential services to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate records and spreadsheets related to client services.
- Monitor and log medical, dental, and legal documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls and assisting clients as needed.
- Collaborate with casework staff to provide comprehensive services to clients, addressing barriers to obtaining necessary paperwork.
- Support parenting time visits, documenting visits and transporting children as required.
- Attend staff meetings, conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Represent the agency in a positive manner, promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in child development or a related field preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings and adapt to changing agency needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel.
