About the Opportunity

The IT Help Desk Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software
  • Provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise users on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support staff
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
  • Keep records of IT problems and their resolution using the IT Ticket system
Requirements
  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in computer-related discipline preferred
  • Training and experience in Computer Information Systems and networking
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Experience with Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, MacBook
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and their suite of applications
  • Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions
  • Ability to install and configure computer systems, hardware, and peripherals
  • Ability to gather data and compile information and prepare reports
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with individuals and/or groups
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
