Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Operations Manager will oversee the daily functions of the Information Technology infrastructure, including desktop support, network management, and interface technician operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the technical services team, ensuring high standards of performance.
  • Manage projects of varying sizes, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
  • Foster effective interdepartmental communication and maintain a positive public-facing demeanor.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment and critical thinking abilities in decision-making processes.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality at the workplace.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of computer networking, installation, and administration.
  • Stay current with advancements in software, hardware, and cloud technologies.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, management, and customer service capabilities.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges.
  • Understand various IT disciplines, including software applications, production operations, and systems management.
  • Lead complex IT projects that align with the overall business objectives in the healthcare sector.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies relevant to the field.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and motivation.
  • Possess knowledge of project management methodologies and ITIL/ITSM practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required or to be obtained within two years.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of experience in IT program planning and management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • A minimum of eight years of professional experience, with at least four years in the healthcare industry.
  • Prior managerial experience within a healthcare provider organization.
  • Experience in database management and project management is preferred.
