POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a friendly, meticulous, and systematic professional with a background in hospitality or real estate who possesses a strong affinity for both interpersonal relations and numerical analysis. This position is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of valuation projects from the initial proposal to the final report. You will oversee the strategy for business valuation projects, mentor and support team members, and drive business development. You may lead a vibrant team of experts and will ensure the delivery of top-notch appraisals and consulting services to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct property evaluations and engage with property management, including necessary field research and travel.
  • Perform comprehensive market research and analysis to assess supply and demand dynamics and competitive asset positioning for accurate forecasting.
  • Appraise real estate properties using various methodologies such as discounted cash flow analysis, direct capitalization, revenue multipliers, or sales comparison approaches.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with property owners, management firms, developers, municipal officials, investors, and lenders.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Real Estate Valuation.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of an active Certified General Appraiser license is mandatory.
  • Experience in hospitality operations and/or real estate is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with solid skills in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team and cultivate industry relationships.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Willingness to travel for asset inspections.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform job functions, including reading from printed materials and computer screens.
