Customer Service Team Leader

Position Title: Supervisor
Employment Type: DIRECT HIRE
Compensation: $21/hr
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Role Summary: Accountable for overseeing the daily operations of a designated department, which may encompass various functions such as human resources, customer service, and fostering a positive work environment among team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct a team of employees in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Ensure the quality of service delivered meets organizational standards.
- Manage human resources issues pertinent to the department under supervision.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Facilitate the training of new hires and adapt protocols as necessary, communicating changes effectively to the team.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
- Assume managerial duties in the absence of higher management.
- Conduct regular reviews of reports, invoices, logs, and expenses on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outstanding organizational abilities
- Capacity to work independently while being accessible to others
- Strong and professional communication skills
- Ability to provide accurate responses to inquiries from various sources promptly
- Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills and independent thought
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in a call center environment is required
- High school diploma or equivalent is necessary
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred
- Proven track record of coaching and managing a team of 6 or more employees
- Excellent employment stability - no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years
