Position Summary
The Inflight Services Team Leader reports directly to the Manager of Inflight Operations and is responsible for supporting, engaging, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of Flight Attendants.

This role involves providing operational support in the terminal, at the gates, or on the aircraft to minimize delays and enhance customer service.

It is a dynamic, fast-paced position that plays a crucial role in supporting the operation and frontline Inflight Team Members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exemplify PSA's core values by being an approachable and visible leader who fosters trust and respect within the team.
  • Address and enhance employee performance in customer service, safety, appearance, conduct, dependability, and attendance through recognition, coaching, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote health, wellness, and safe work practices.
  • Act as a liaison between Inflight, other departments, and Station Personnel.
  • Provide assistance and support for inbound and outbound flights, including handling Flight Attendant injuries and aircraft emergencies.
  • Respond effectively to unplanned events in a fast-paced aviation environment, including crew conflicts and emergencies.
  • Provide feedback to Inflight Services Base Managers regarding employee performance and attendance.
  • Track and follow up on delays affecting key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Conduct daily audits in the terminal, ensuring compliance and supporting operational needs.
  • Collaborate with Inflight Operations and Standards and Training groups to implement best practices and provide feedback on policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated outputs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to qualify as a Flight Attendant and maintain qualification on all aircraft types
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Previous aviation experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within a union environment
Additional Information
Delegation: Responsibilities may be delegated to the Manager of Inflight Operations in their absence.
Authorities: None
Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.
Work Environment: This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands outlined here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While primarily sedentary, the employee may frequently need to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs, and use hands for various tasks.
Security Clearance: All employees must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a pre-employment drug screen.
