Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Nellson Nutraceutical, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and directing the activities of the HR team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with site leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Develop and implement departmental budget.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
- Previous experience working as a human resources generalist with supervisory experience for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in food.
- Experience working in a non-union environment.
- Extensive knowledge of HRIS Systems, preferably ADP systems.
- Experience with high-volume temporary recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English.

Ability to spend most of the day working with a computer; ability to sit, walk or stand for extended periods, ability to talk and hear associates contacted on the job, ability to use office machines such as computers, faxes, scanners, etc.
