Nurse Manager

CMP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Critical Care team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of nursing services and patient care within our Critical Care unit, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of nursing services and patient care within the Critical Care unit, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and service.
- Develop and implement plans to improve staff development and the delivery of patient care, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of service and utilization standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Critical Care unit, including human resources management, department and employee safety programs, and risk management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers outside of the unit to achieve optimal patient care across the continuum.
- Research and implement best practice models developed in the unit or by other units, ensuring that our team is always up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience relevant to a given position/department required, including one (1) year of leadership experience.
- BSN or bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or completion of a relevant bachelor's degree within two (2) years of hire.
- Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Masters degree preferred.
