We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Assistant Stage Manager (Part-time) to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Production Stage Manager to ensure the ongoing quality of our performances.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering on-the-ground responsibilities of the Stage Manager when they are not present. This includes focusing on the flow and timing of each performance to ensure successful day-to-day operations. They will also work closely with the General Manager of the store to seamlessly integrate our show into their operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2+ years of experience in family entertainment or theatre production
* Strong understanding of engagement techniques with children and improvisation
* Experience working with both small and large casts and crews
* Familiarity with logistics of theatrical production
* Technical theatre skills, including lighting, sound, and carpentry

Physical Demands
This role requires regular standing, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking about the store. You will also need to safely operate manual and electrical equipment.
