A Revenue Audit Supervisor will assume supervisory functions in the absence of a lead and will aid in training new revenue audit clerks. This includes the collection, verification, and reconciliation of essential documentation, logs, reports, and checklists, ensuring all processes are conducted in a confidential, secure, compliant, and timely manner.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Revenue Audit Supervisor role will exhibit strong supervisory capabilities and possess experience managing a team of three or more individuals. A valid driver's license and demonstrated driving skills are required. Occasional travel may be necessary. Responsibilities include scheduling and training audit personnel. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with office equipment such as calculators, computers, and copy/fax machines is essential. Knowledge of gaming regulations and controls is also required. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and capable of distinguishing between letters and numbers. The ability to complete tasks accurately and promptly is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Meticulously collect, verify, and reconcile revenue data using various reports and documentation. Complete all required forms, checklists, and exception reports while ensuring compliance and timely responses.
  2. Effectively communicate any discrepancies or issues with team members, supervisors, and relevant departments.
  3. Adhere to established procedures and safety regulations, including compliance with state gaming regulations and internal controls.
  4. Maintain effective working relationships with team members and management while safeguarding confidential information.
  5. Demonstrate self-motivation along with problem-solving and resolution skills.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves sedentary work, allowing for comfortable seating during tasks. Some walking, standing, and light lifting may be required. The work environment is typical of office settings, necessitating standard safety precautions. Adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation are provided.
