Electronics Specialist

Qualified Staffing is seeking an Electronics Specialist to join our team.
This role involves designing, specifying, and writing programs for electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC ladder logic and experience with AutoCAD or similar engineering software.
The Electronics Specialist will be responsible for:
- Designing electro-mechanical interfaces in compliance with safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
- Specifying controls, interfaces, and electro-mechanical devices with a focus on standardization and reliability.
- Documenting system designs and developing logic for PLCs and software controls.
- Participating in benchmarking best practice activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and updating machine operating procedures and instructions.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing system failures and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on assigned manufacturing equipment.
- Recommending equipment upgrades and participating in ROI analysis.
Requirements:
- Two-year degree in industrial maintenance or related field.
- Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of PLC ladder logic.
