Job Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the immersive experience of a unique interactive game. This position serves as the acting manager in the absence of the Operations Manager, providing leadership to Experience Attendants and Crew members while being the primary point of contact for various on-site staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Stagehands and Experience Attendants, ensuring smooth guest onboarding and engagement.
  • Address and manage any guest-related issues, maintaining a positive environment.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests by actively engaging with them and enforcing established rules and policies.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports and incident documentation promptly, maintaining clear communication with supervisors regarding any occurrences.
  • Assist in creating staffing schedules and managing shift rotations for Hosts and Experience Attendants.
  • Act as Incident Commander during emergencies, coordinating with security and emergency services until professional responders arrive.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Be prepared to perform Experience Attendant duties as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Be flexible and available to assist in various capacities as determined by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex events or productions.
  • Strong commitment to inclusivity and engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Exemplary professionalism and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately complete necessary documentation.
  • Strong public speaking skills and the ability to command a room.
  • Proficient in resolving customer service issues with tact and professionalism.
  • CPR certification and first responder training are preferred.
  • Experience in a cultural setting with diverse personnel is advantageous.
  • Conversational proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Must be capable of moving between various areas, reading tickets in different formats, and utilizing technology such as tablets and ticket scanners.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $24.00 to $26.00, based on experience. This is a temporary position.
