The Role: Operations Support Manager

We're seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to join our team and drive profitable sales within our gastrobar locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing restaurant operations, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Departmental Operations: Assist various departments within a set location to make a meaningful impact each day until permanent placement.
  • Exemplify Company Values: Embody Bar Louie's Mission, Vision, and Values in daily shift approaches.
  • Commitment to Cleanliness and Safety: Demonstrate a maniacal commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and accurate financials.
  • Develop Strong Communication and Reporting: Establish and improve processes that drive better service and cleanliness through effective communication and line reporting.
  • Lead Management Report Meetings: Coordinate and lead management report meetings with key business leaders to drive growth and improvement.
  • Staff Management and Development: Lead hiring, managing, scheduling, and training of supervisors, team leads, and staff members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Food Cost Control: Maintain BOH food costs through appropriate ordering, inventory management, financial report review, and necessary actions.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control: Ensure accurate and clear communication of standards and cooking methods to staff, provide orders, and engage with customers.
  • Safe Working Environment: Maintain a safe working environment to minimize the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Maintenance and Organization: Ensure kitchen organization and cleanliness comply with Company and Health Department standards.
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Drive sales growth, implement local marketing strategies, manage employee life cycles, and lead topics like P/L, employee development, and more.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Work 50+ hours per week, including early morning, evening, late-night shifts, and weekends, to meet guest and business needs.
  • Leadership Team Support: Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and contribute to Company goals.

Requirements

  • Education and Age: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience and Skills: 2+ years of hospitality or restaurant experience, strong interest and knowledge of food service required; 1+ year of management experience with demonstrated results preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and lead high-performing teams.
