Job Title: Youth Sports Coordinator

At the YMCA of Snohomish County, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Sports Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing high-quality YMCA Youth Sports programs for our diverse participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct programs for assigned locations, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere for participants.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff and volunteers as needed, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Review and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and guidance to achieve goals and improve program quality.
  • Ensure program operations are within budget and that program fees are collected, maintaining accurate records and department files.
  • Comply with state and local regulations, ensuring YMCA program standards are met and safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain relationships with parent groups and other organizations, promoting partnerships and collaborations.
  • Organize special events for participants, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
  • Assist with YMCA fundraising activities, contributing to the organization's mission and goals.
  • Participate in Program Committee meetings, providing input and expertise to drive program development and improvement.
  • Compile program statistics, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of and participation in programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age 18
  • One year or more experience as a coordinator or supervisor of programs
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge required
  • Fluency in a second language preferred
