Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wound Care Program Manager to join our team at Monroe Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, ongoing management, and strategic growth of our outpatient Wound Care Center and HBO programs, as well as inpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve program metrics and ensure quality of care.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including budgeting, revenue and cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement, marketing, and human resource management.
  • Maintain collaborative and consultative relationships with physicians and other providers, and integrate programs to create effective working relationships within the hospital and externally.
  • Operate the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, if previously trained and experienced, or obtain necessary certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manipulate various types of electronic and clinical equipment, and operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of patients served, and ability to perform treatments and interpret data specific to patient group.
