Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Preparation
- Verify patient identity and surgical site
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field
- Assist in the setup and organization of surgical equipment
- Operative Assistance
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon
- Monitor the sterile field and take corrective action as needed
- Assist with patient positioning and transfer
- Post-Operative Care
- Assist with patient recovery and transfer to the post-anesthesia care unit
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
- Education and Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- National certification as a Surgical Technologist required
- Experience
- 2-4 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
