Job Summary:

The Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care is seeking a highly skilled Early Literacy Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations and policy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and programs that support early literacy development in Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and programs that support early literacy development in Oregon.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions and program development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including early childhood educators, policymakers, and community leaders, to advance early literacy initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support early literacy programs.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to early childhood programs and providers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Early Learning, or related field.
  • Four years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience.
  • Experience working in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
