About the Opportunity

The Legislative Policy and Research Office (LPRO) is seeking two graduate students to participate in an exciting internship program for the 2025 Legislative Session. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the legislative process in Oregon and gain hands-on experience in policy research and analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of policy research and analysis projects
  • Conduct research on public policy issues relevant to Oregon
  • Support the Legislative Policy and Research Committee in its work
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policy initiatives
Requirements
  • Be a current graduate student of a Master's, Ph.D., J.D., or professional program in public policy, public administration, law, or a related field
  • Have a strong desire to learn the legislative process through hands-on experience
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
