Welcome to the position of Strategic Policy Analyst and Treatment Program Coordinator at the State of Oregon

The State of Oregon is seeking a dedicated professional to join our workforce. Currently, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Strategic Policy Analyst and Treatment Program Coordinator in Salem. If selected, you will be part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in supporting addiction treatment programs across various state facilities. This recruitment drive aims to build a pool of highly skilled candidates for both current and future openings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for substance use disorder treatment services for adults in custody.
  • Act as a liaison between Contract Service Providers and the state agency.
  • Support Treatment Administration in program oversight and development.
  • Coordinate program audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed of best practices in addiction treatment and contribute to program enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like business, public administration, or social sciences.
  • Two years of professional-level analytical and planning experience.
  • Valid Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 (CADC-I) certification from MHACBO.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with the chronic disease approach to substance use disorder treatment.
  • Experience in professional writing and report development.
  • Ability to collect and interpret data for process evaluation.
  • Credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Associate or Professional.
  • Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 2 or higher.
