Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Cocktail Server at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, professional bar environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Efficient Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders, and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay.
  • Maintain a Clean and Professional Bar: Set up and maintain a clean, efficient service area, and ensure all supplies are stocked.
  • Ring Orders and Deliver to Tables: Accurately ring orders into the Micros system and deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
  • Check Back with Guests: Continuously check back with guests to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with their experience.
  • Protect the Hotel from Liability: Ensure guests are not over-served and take steps to prevent any potential liability issues.
  • Complete All Duties as Assigned: Assist the bartender as needed, set up tables, and aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel.
  • Attend Staff Meetings and Training Sessions: Participate in all designated staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Serving Experience: Previous experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Flexible Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certifications: Must possess valid TIPS/RBS alcohol awareness and CA Food Handler certifications.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak fluent English.

Compensation: $20.32/hour
