As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and marketing clients' accounts innovatively and efficiently. This includes possessing and applying knowledge of industry trends and related regulations, coordinating Lockton resources, and developing and maintaining favorable internal and external relationships.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding and performing marketing and account services to provide the broadest and most competitive quality product for Lockton clients
  • Informed of the client's overall business, operations, and risk management needs; anticipating when and how to respond
  • Comprehending and being well-informed on the insurance industry developments and all products available in the insurance marketplace
  • Developing and maintaining dependable working relationships with carriers and other providers
  • Managing marketing strategies and selection for new and renewal business and maintaining communication with the account team during the entire marketing process to protect current business and secure new business
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients to provide the best possible service on a timely basis
  • Coordinating the renewal of current client business, including providing a renewal notice to the Producer, setting up a renewal meeting 120 days prior, completing an exposure checklist, creating and updating coverage specifications, delivering submissions to markets, reviewing quotes and preparing proposals, arranging and performing renewal presentations to clients, binding coverage with underwriters before expiration, making instructions for renewal to the company, processing renewal accounts with the assistance of the Account Administrator and Account Manager, reviewing work prepared by the Account Administrator and Account Manager, preparing summaries, completing final policy checks, closing items to discuss in proposal mailing, or delivering policies to clients
  • Undertaking responsibility for new business as directed
  • Accountable for the development, implementation, and monitoring of client service plans
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of stewardship reports
  • Overseeing, directing, planning, and scheduling the work of others, as required
  • May train and give technical supervision to assigned associates
  • Has ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of work processed by the Account Administrator, Account Manager, and others
  • Performing tasks not assigned to the Account Administrator or Account Manager
  • Preparing written correspondence, reports, and analyses, as needed
  • Analyzing situations, identifying problems, recommending solutions, and evaluating outcomes
  • Responding promptly to the requests and needs of clients and Lockton associates
  • Making a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and continuously striving to improve service to the customer
  • Motivating, instructing, and promoting teamwork and associate development
  • Keeping abreast of market conditions and new products
  • Making decisions in compliance with established Lockton standards of quality performance and service
  • Understanding when to proceed alone and when to involve the Producer or others
  • Interfacing with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner
  • Accumulating required continuing education credits to maintain a current insurance license
  • Attending position-related seminars/classes, carrier functions, and social events as required
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned
