Key Responsibilities- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including registration, updates, and verification of insurance information.
- Verify vaccine reorders and run daily reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process patient payments, including co-pays and past due balances, and post charges in our electronic health record system.
- Monitor patient waiting areas to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
- Communicate with patients and healthcare team members to provide accurate and helpful information.
- Perform administrative tasks, including opening and sorting mail, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and organization services.
- Ability to use multi-line phone system and standard office equipment.
This is a full-time position in a well-lighted office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
