Job Summary

MRC Global is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
  • Drive effective partnerships with branch and regional operations to deepen understanding of customer business processes and expectations.
  • Coordinate MRC Global activities, including pricing, service, billing, and systems implementation, with customer representatives.
  • Achieve maximum profitability by meeting or exceeding gross margin goals through effective negotiation.
  • Deliver superior service through consultative sales, preparing quality presentation materials, and conducting demonstrations.
  • Research and develop information on new projects and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Travel extensively to meet customers and maintain consistent contact with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Four or more years of customer service, inside/outside sales experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of PVF and segment-specific materials and understand scope of services.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications.
  • Ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others.
  • Valid Driver's license with the ability to meet MRC Global vehicle policy.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently.
  • Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations.
