Transportation Design Specialist

About the Role:
DOWL is seeking a talented Transportation Designer 1 to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing entry-level engineering calculations, design, and drafting for a variety of transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site visits and CAD drafting
- Perform geometric roadway layout and design
- Develop 3D models and write project specifications and technical reports
- Calculate construction quantities and estimate costs
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to plan work and monitor budgets and schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 0 years of experience required
- EIT/EI certification required within 6 months of hire
