Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of Chrysos Photon Assay equipment.
- Schedule and perform monthly maintenance, as well as respond to breakdowns on short notice to minimize downtime.
- Offer technical support services via phone, email, and remote computer login for troubleshooting and performance checks.
- Liaise with support staff at Chrysos' headquarters and our technology partner in China.
- Train customers on the safe operation and maintenance of the equipment.
- Manage spares inventory for each installation site.
- Document maintenance and spares activities, and provide feedback to customers.
- Assist in the development and improvement of maintenance and service processes.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new installations.
- Prepare fault records for statistics and reporting.
- Contribute to Root Cause Analysis of faults and safety incidents.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining technical equipment.
- Safety mindset at all times.
- Strong customer service ethos and problem-solving skills.
- Able and willing to travel and work within the US and across North America.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with the mining industry and mine-site operations.
- Customer Service and Field Service experience in the mining or mineral sector (or related) processing industries.
- Demonstrated experience in fault finding in electro-mechanical equipment.
- Hands-on experience in electrical wiring and safety, power distribution, mechanical maintenance, and repairs; basic electronics; metalworking; engineering drawing and design.
- Experience in product development and the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency with office productivity software, including MS Suite.
- Valid rights to work and a current Driver's License.
- College graduate with 2-3 years' experience, with a diploma in mechatronics (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or a closely related technical discipline.
