Job Summary:

As a Senior Property Accountant with Professional Staffing Group, you will be responsible for representing and closing 15 to 20 properties/profit centers per month. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting procedures and the ability to maintain and update the monthly property 'workbook' that codifies the month-end closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Verification that invoices are prepared in accordance with accounting procedures, correcting errors, questioning atypical expenses, and/or departures from established procedures.
Responsible to upload information for annual budget templates and supporting Account Executives in the annual budgeting process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with a strong preference for a B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a STEM Degree (Math/Physics/Chemistry, etc.) with appropriate work experience acceptable to Accounting Team leadership.
Yardi experience and deep EXCEL skills are a strong plus.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
Detail-oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility.
Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
