Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome all customers on the sales floor with warmth and friendliness
- Drive personal sales by achieving set targets and adhering to SCHEELS' professional sales standards to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Promote the SCHEELS Visa Rewards card and articulate its benefits clearly
- Engage customers in meaningful conversations to assist them in their purchasing decisions
- Exhibit enthusiasm for the products available in our store
- Participate in all SCHEELS product training sessions and store meetings
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance on the sales floor
- Assist with additional assigned tasks as needed
- Demonstrate basic math skills; calculate rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret bar graphs
- Read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Write basic correspondence as required.

- Effectively present information in both one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues
- Exhibit strong communication, organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong oral and written communication abilities to interact effectively with all organizational levels
- Be willing to assist with inventory and stocking tasks when necessary
- Demonstrate product usage within the store and retrieve items from heights exceeding 6 feet
Compensation: Starting at $14.00 per hour. (Average combined hourly rate of $18.00-$22.00 plus commission)

- Efficiency: Take pride in your work while meeting deadlines.

Schedule: Must be flexible to work assigned hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an average of 20 hours per week.

Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with 1-3 months of sales experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work: May require exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
