Regional Sales Manager Job Description

Amwins Connect is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Georgia territory. As a key member of our growth and revenue generating team, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and growing retail broker relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the group medical and ancillary insurance markets. You will be responsible for managing, negotiating, and advising brokers with a consultative approach, providing tailored employee benefit solutions to meet their clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, identifying and evaluating their needs through education and advisory services.
  • Work with brokers to develop insurance solutions that meet their clients' needs, leveraging company tools and technology to enhance relationships and drive sales activities.
  • Identify and create new opportunities, working with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to increase the prospect funnel.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor data, and technology solutions available in the employee benefit marketplace.
  • Represent Amwins Connect at meetings, events, and training sessions to maintain a competitive advantage.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience with group medical or ancillary insurance.
  • Track record of over-achieving sales goals.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Life & Health insurance license and proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Ability to travel for internal conferences and/or training.
