Territory Sales Representative

Square is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our field sales organization. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Account Management: Sell Square's ecosystem of products and services to local businesses, focusing on restaurants, retailers, and service-based businesses.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to identify new sales opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, decision-makers, and influencers to establish Square as a trusted partner.
- Market Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the local business landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, customer support, and onboarding, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing Salesforce to track and report on sales activities and pipeline status.
- Strong Sales Skills: Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on building relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local business landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
