Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Change Manager to lead the development, execution, and maintenance of our business unit change management portfolio. This role will focus on driving cultural, organizational, and process changes that support our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify change impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assess organizational culture and readiness for change, and design interventions to foster a supportive environment.
  • Lead creation of clear and effective communication plans to articulate the purpose, benefits, and timeline of changes to all stakeholders.
  • Identify and engage change champions and stakeholders to drive advocacy and support for the change process.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required for successful adoption.
  • Manage and monitor the effectiveness of change management strategies, gathering feedback and data to make continuous improvements.
  • Address potential sources of resistance to change, developing strategies to overcome challenges and maintain momentum.
  • Develop metrics and reports to track the progress and impact of change initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, organizational leadership, or related field.
  • 14 years of relevant experience in change management, with a proven understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Change Management certification or designation, with Prosci Certification preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with no travel required. The successful candidate will be based in Kansas City, MO, and will be part of a dynamic team at Burns & McDonnell.
