Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering expert nursing care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in post-acute care settings
  • Monitoring care options and collaborating with other medical professionals
  • Working alongside residents and healthcare staff to formulate care plans
  • Setting up and overseeing medical equipment
  • Ensuring residents receive the correct treatments and medications
  • Collecting bodily fluids for laboratory analysis
  • Discussing optimal care options with residents and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  • Overseeing accurate documentation of resident histories and interventions
  • Providing training and guidance to nursing and support staff
  • Assisting staff with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 4 months of experience in post-acute or inpatient hospital care
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
