Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Phlebotomy Technician I to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) certificate or higher
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One-year acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Basic medical terminology, typing, math, and computer skills
