Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Floater to support our client's medical facility in Stamford, CT. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients, ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Prepare specimens for lab testing, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
- Explain procedures to patients clearly and compassionately.
- Ensure the timely completion of daily activities in various settings, including Patient Service Centers and mobile environments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) or in-office phlebotomy environment preferred.
